You’re crafty, and you’re just my type. We need all kinds of folks to help us get ready for the upcoming budget-fighting library-advocacy season. Building puppets, making banners, working like busy little beavers. Ever wanted to help Urban Librarians Unite but fear commitment? Hey, I’ve got issues too. Just come out to one of these one shot deals. The library/job you save may be your own. ♥ I’ll bake cupcakes.

HALP!

Here’s some cut and pasted details, because I’m a lazy gurl:

  • Friday, March 30, 2012
  • 6:00pm until 9:00pm
Welcome to the first big Save NYC Libraries Build. Come out and sew, wordsmith, brainstorm, and paint. We will be working on all kinds of things at these regular events including banners, street theater stuff, blog ins, and more. We welcome everyone who wants to get involved and hope you will join us there. Many hands lightens the load and we welcome a light load. This Friday bring your painting clothes, a house painting brush, a pair of good grownup scissors, and your best tunes to help build a megabanner!

More builds coming soon…
