24 Hour Read to Save NYC Libraries! It’s nearly 2 AM and I’m super tired and I want to cry. I’m staring into space and sometimes I laugh at something for no reason.
My favorite part of this evening has been reading with my friend and amazing playwright David Johnston. We read from his play Candy and Dorothy, which is about a librarian having a nervous breakdown, and Candy Darling, the Andy Warhol transsexual, who comes to save her. I think the reading was a big hit:
