Sometimes I’m too busy being a librarian to actually enjoy the library. That’s why I enjoy Greenpoint Library’s crafting class for adults: Greenpoint Hand Skills. Previously, I’ve made a satanic owl in their class. This time, we made collages.
It was so nice to sit in a library as a patron. I think that sometimes I forget that libraries and library programs are for me, too.
I created this absolute masterpiece. This piece is dedicated to all of you constantly asking when I was going to blog about late-1970s early-1980s cop show heartthrobs and their place in today’s library.

P.S. Oh, and check the one that Tim made.

I have to agree, I tend to forget how much I do like libraries since I’m in one all day. It’s always nice to go to a fun program where it isn’t something I’m putting on.
We work so hard at being librarians, we deserve a nice day at the library once in a while.
