I spoke on a panel at ALA about Library AdvocacyOn that panel, I met the ever awesome Amy Martin, who I affectionately call Bangs. Together, we are Bangs and Mags. I wish Oakland were a little closer to NYC, because she’s the kind of rad chica I’d like to hang with all the time.

Bangs knew I was having a rough time as of late, so she kindly sent me a care package full of jewelry and a My Little Pony and some librarian trading cards, which are clearly the best thing ever. I thought I’d share the one she made of me:

Isn’t this the best? Well, she gave me a bunch of blank cards, which I hope to bust out and customize in the near future.

I salute you, Bangs. You are the jam.
