As promised, here are some finished photos of my Pride Month library display. It’s up in the YA section and the mass of sequins has not made it fall down…yet…

So, basically:

As I was putting up the poster boards, a table of teens was watching me. I was nervous that someone was going to see the LGBTQ display and say something awful (as our teens often do for various other reasons), but I was in the clear. One guy said, “What is that stuff?” And the girl next to him said, “It’s Pride Month.”

All he said in return was, “Oh.”
